This position is full time permanent.
The incumbent is assigned to the Mental Health Service at The George H.
O'Brien, Jr.
VA Medical Center for The West Texas VA Health Care Service (WTVAHCS), Big Spring, TX.
As the Local Recovery Coordinator the incumbent will assist in implementation of policies and procedures from the National Recovery Coordinator (NRC) and to facilitate implementation of recovery oriented services in Mental Health Programs which includes education of providers and veterans and their families on recovery and evaluation of implementation efforts.
The LRC functions as a champion and advocate for the recovery model, serves as a recovery ombudsman to the MH Director, program managers, and staff on recovery and implementation of recovery oriented services.
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 8:
00am - 4:
30pm, or as defined by supervisor.
Recruitment/Relocation Incentive Maybe authorized for this position.

This is not moving expenses.
If incentive is approved, it comes with a 2 year serviceagreement and is not paid out until incumbent is employed with facility.
The incumbent for this position may be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program if Funding is Available.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
