Registered Nurse (Telephone Triage)

The West Texas VA Health Care System is currently accepting applications for the position of Registered Nurse(s).
As a Staff Nurse you will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured Veterans.
Duties include documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition; collaborating with health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes; providing a full range of nursing care patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems; and/or ensure clinical oversight of the non-VA care approval process and consultative services provided by the medical center.
Our facility is seeking individuals who possess good organization skills which enable complete of work, a demonstrated ability to assume leadership in communication with patients, families, visitors and members of the interdisciplinary team.

Monday through Friday and may vary depending on the hiring facility.
A RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION INCENTIVE MAY BE AUTHORIZED (This is not moving expenses.
If incentive is approved, it comes with a 2 year service agreement and is not paid out until incumbent is employed by facility).
Salary will be determined by the Nurse Professional Standards Board based on experience and education at the Nurse I - Nurse III grade level.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
