Physician (Ambulatory Care Service)
The Primary Care Physician(s) will provide comprehensive care to a panel of adult patients from young adult to elderly.
The Physician(s) will provide care to optimize patient health, work seamlessly with other health care team members and support patient satisfaction initiatives.
The physician will contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, write orders for diagnostic testing, prescribe medication, consult with specialty services and utilize computerized/electronic medical records.
Also, the selectee will provide patient care in accordance with professional standards, core values and commitment to excellent service.
Selectee must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine and must be proficient in the use of computerized systems related to patient care.
Current vacancies include the Outpatient Clinics at the West Texas VA Health Care System in Big Spring, Texas and the Permian Basin Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Odessa, Texas.

SALARY:
Applicant's individual qualifications, education, professional training and professional experience will be reviewed by a Professional Standards Board (PSB) and Compensation Panel (for physician and dentists) in determining the most appropriate grade and salary of the applicant selected.
The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.
A RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION INCENTIVE MAY BE AUTHORIZED.

If incentive is approved, a service agreement will be required and incentive is not paid out until incumbent is employed with facility.

DESIGNED DRUG-TESTING POSITION:
